Welcome to RTA Barcoded Inventory Tracking System

This system is designed for steel milling operators seeking to provide a basis for ISO certification of that part of the operation which pertains to heat tracking of production.

Using our Barcode Inventory Tracking procedures you can trace the any properly tagged item back through its production process to the heat and chemistry of the original coil from which it was produced.

This system is intended to be run in parallel with an ERP, MRP or accounting package which does not provide features for heat tracking. It is not a replacement for a full inventory management system.

A grey background and missing menu are indicative of trying to use Internet Explorer rather than Firefox. It will ONLY work with Firefox which you can download here.

How the Menu Works

GREEN arrow

means it has sub-items. Click the ARROW or the entry to expand it into a sub-list.

RED arrow

is collapsible. It was green arrow, but you clicked on it. You can click it to shorten the menu.

Clicking

a final level entry will make its web page display in the center column, and its help text on the right.

RED dot

means you have just clicked it. Its page should be in the center and its help on the right.

BLUE dot

means you clicked it before clicking the red dot (most recent) entry. You can't use the browser 'Back' button, so the blue dot helps you remember where you just came from.

Going from an expanded

section to a higher collapsed section will automatically collapse it when the new section expands.

Holding down CTRL

while clicking a green arrow item prevents this collapse. It can make the menu get very long. The page will expand to fit.
